MEMBER BRITISH CUPPING SOCIETY

Members of the British Cupping Society (MBCS) are health professionals certified by the BCS and deemed competent in the practice of cupping.

MBCS’ must have demonstrated a sound knowledge of the practice of cupping as well as the clinical skills necessary to practice cupping competently and safely. Thereafter they will be deemed Members of the British Cupping Society (MBCS). MBCS’ are expected to engage in developments in cupping and working in line with BCS policies and procedures.

Successful completion of BCS ‘Medical Cupping Therapy Workshop’

Submission of case portfolio within 12 months of initial registration

Registration with Medical, Dental, Healthcare professionals Council (HCPC) or equivalent professional registration body:

    • Other professions may be considered subject to BCS approval

Curriculum vitae with character and clinical reference.

Criminal records clearance (DBS)

Satisfactory health clearance

Annual BCS membership fee and CPD requirement of 15 hours.

Full membership

The membership fee for BCS members is £100 per annum.
