All our members are medical and healthcare professionals. Our members are internationally renowned for their rigorous training, patient centred and evidence based cupping therapy approach.
BCS members will be able to apply for medical indemnity insurance policy of £5million and optional up to £10million. Policy is valid internationally and includes ALL aspects of both dry and wet cupping therapy procedures. This cover is EXCLUSIVE to BCS members.
All our training workshops, conferences and seminars are CPD approved.
Cupping Therapists worldwide will share their case histories and questions in a case report formats through our members’ forum. Interactive discussions will ensure that members are kept up to date with latest treatment protocols.

Student membership of the British Cupping Society (SBCS) is awarded to students registered for a healthcare professional’s council (HCPC) approved degree, or studying Medicine, Nursing, Pharmacy and Dentistry.
An affiliate member of the British Cupping Society (ABCS) is granted to medical and healthcare professionals who are unable to register as full members but would like to benefit from BCS.
Members of the British Cupping Society (MBCS) are health professionals certified by the BCS and deemed competent in the practice of cupping.
MBCS’ must have demonstrated a sound knowledge of the practice of cupping as well as the clinical skills necessary to practice cupping competently and safely. Thereafter they will be deemed Members of the British Cupping Society (MBCS). MBCS’ are expected to engage in developments in cupping and working in line with BCS policies and procedures.
A Fellow of the British Cupping Society (FBCS) is awarded in recognition of a significant contribution to the field of cupping therapy in the aspects of delivery of safe clinical practice, teaching, training and contribution to research. In addition, FBCS may be awarded to individuals who have made significant other contributions leading to the promotion of cupping therapy.
