Why Health Professionals Only?

We aim to maintain professional standards to increase public and professional confidence in CT in line with our mission statement. Our courses are based on the application of Medical CT and therefore it is essential for potential practitioners to have a background in the health sciences as well as skills in diagnosis, management and patient communication. We believe our practitioners should be at the forefront of CT in all aspects.

WHY CHOOSE BCS?

  • All our trainers are either medical doctors or academics in CT with clinical experience and have presented their work internationally.
  • CPD approved – our workshop is registered for 15 CPD hours.
  • Our workshops are continually updated in line with the latest clinical guidelines, practice and research.
  • BCS is a recognised regulatory body of CT in the UK and internationally. This means that the BCS has its own register of approved practitioners.
  • BCS is the only cupping society worldwide to be led solely by medical doctors and health professionals.
  • BCS is a member of GRCCT.
  • BCS is internationally recognised on cupping related research and regulation.
