BCS MEDICAL CUPPING THERAPY WORKSHOP

The Medical Cupping Therapy (CT) workshop consists of 2 weeks of personal and self-directed study guided by pre-course material followed by 2 days of contact learning and assessment. This is followed by inclusion on the membership pathway comprising clinical experience and case preparation.

 

PRE-REQUISITES

  • All UK participants must be health professionals and registered with a professional body
  • Professional body registration numbers and qualifications must be provided on the registration form
  • International participants must also be health professionals registered in their respective country
  • Previous cupping experience is not a pre-requisite to participation

  • BCS Cupping Point Selection & Management
  • Research in Practice & Case Preparation
  • Assessment of Live Clinical Cases
  • BCS Registration Pathway

An in-course examination will take place at the end of the 2nd day comprising:

  1. Practical Assessment
  2. OSCE Examination
  3. Oral Viva
  • Participants will receive a certificate of competence upon successful assessment
  • Participants can choose to enrol on the BCS registered practitioner pathway.
  • Participants can gain access to our exclusive members forum with access to clinical guidelines and treatment plans
  • An opportunity to be listed as a BCS approved practitioner on our register and website

Workshop Registration Process

  1. Please complete the online application process and choosing which workshop date you wish to attend
  2. Transfer the fees via BACS or PayPal. Your place will only be confirmed once successful payment is made and the panel has approved your application.
  3. Please submit supporting documents or information to confirm your health professional status such as certificates and a professional body registration number.
  4. Once registration is complete, you will receive pre-course material via email 14 days prior to the course date. The final day of the workshop will conclude with practical assessments in CT.
